Students at the Leverton Junior School in Waltham Abbey put on their own version of "High School Musical" to mark the end of term.
The show, called "East High Musical" was based on the hit Disney films starring teenage heartthrobs Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.
The two performances at the school in Honey Lane were sell-outs, with Headteacher Louise Martin praising her all-singing, all-dancing students.
She said: “The year six pupils rose to the challenge. They sang their hearts out and danced brilliantly to hit such as ‘Breaking Free’ and ‘Bop to the Top’. Every foot was tapping by the end of the show.”
The two main roles of Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez were played by Tyler Dangerfield and Abbie Marsh respectively.
The youngsters worked on the show for six weeks with help from teachers Pat Dean, Jeannette Harman and Lisa Gibbs and Learning Assistants Jan Thorogood and Wendy Pentelow.
