A THIEF stole a man's car after snatching his keys at knifepoint outside a shop.
The 29-year-old had parked his Silver VW Golf in Beal Road while he went to a nearby Londis store in Cranbrook Road.
On his way back to the car, a man pounced on him with a four inch kitchen blade, and demanded he hand over his keys.
The victim's friend, who had been waiting in the car, was also threatened, before the knifeman sped off.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident, which happened at around 9pm on Sunday (August 2).
The thief is described as a black man, aged between 20 and 28, with a height of 6ft2.
He had a slim build and was wearing a black baseball cap, a grey hoodie, black jeans and black trainers.
Anyone with information should call DC Jo Cairns on 8345 2610 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
