UNIVERSITY of East London (UEL) staff took part in Europe's biggest triathlon.
Eight UEL teams, each of three people, joined 13,000 others from across the country at the event at the Excel Centre, in the Docklands.
David Cosford, Director of Sport at UEL said: “This is a great team effort and I’m proud of everyone and how hard they have trained to get here. There were eight UEL teams with groups of three people in each team. One person swam, another cycled and a third ran in the race.
“This event was all about participation, fun and enjoyment.
“We had a great team spirit, and we are already looking forward to next year’s event, with even more participants.”
The UEL staff came from a number of different schools, including finance, health and bioscences.
