CLASSIC fairy tales were brought to life with strings-attached when a puppet show came to town.
Pekko's Puppets provided summer holiday fun at Loughton Library, in Traps Hill, with a showing of Red Riding Hood and the Hans Christian Anderson story The Princess and the Pea.
Puppeteer Stephen Novy performed in front of a packed crowd using life-size models to keep his young audience entertained.
Library customer services superviser Di Dziubek said: “It was fully attended- people were still turning up on the day. It was very well received by the children who were delighted at the puppets. People said it was fantastic.”
