DETAILS of the investigation into the death of a grandmother crushed in a tower block lift could be made public within days.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) said its lift experts had concluded their work at the site of Lambourne House in Woodford Green's Orchard Estate, and that some findings could be made public by next week.
The investigation, which is being jointly carried out by the Metropolitan Police, was launched following the death of 50-year-old Christine Allen just after midnight on Sunday.
A spokeswoman for the HSE said the group was still wanting to speak to more witnesses of the tragedy.
