DOZENS of posters have been plastered around the borough by an owner desperate to find her parrot.
Ellen Goodchild's African Grey parrot, Chezzie, went missing on May 24 from her home in Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow, after her partner accidently left the back door open.
She said: "I am completely heartbroken. He is very tame and was just learning to talk. He says "Hello" and "Want bath"."
There have been various sightings of the nine-month-old bird around Walthamstow, but unfortunately he has flown off by the time Ms Goodchild gets there.
Anyone who spots the African Grey is asked to Ms Goodchild on 07954 169777.
