A TASK force has been set up in an attempt to meet the needs of Seven Kings residents, after years of campaigning for a library.
A working group, made up of residents, councillors, council officers and members of the Take Action for Seven Kings group, will meet regularly over the next few months with the aim of addressing some of the community's concerns about library provision in the area.
It is thought that a temporary facility could be provided while plans for a permanent building are considered.
Options for layout, opening hours and community activities will also be discussed.
Redbridge Council agreed to look at Seven Kings provision in May after years of campaigning by residents.
The task force will provide information to help shape a report which will go to Cabinet in September.
