ART lovers will get the chance to run the rule over work by dozens of local painters when the Abbey hosts its annual summer exhibition.
The historic church will display pictures by local artists of all abilities - with a range of different artistic genres on show.
This year the event will run over the bank holiday (Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August) at the Abbey Church centre.
All money raised will go towards the upkeep of the church, parts of which date from Norman times.
Keen art fans can get a sneak preview of the display at a special viewing on Friday August 28 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 from the parish office and include light refreshments.
Cream teas will be laid on by the Mothers Union at the church on Saturday, August 22 from 2.30pm.
Tickets for the cost £3.50 and are available from the parish office on 01992 767 897.
