A FREE nature walk is being held this weekend in Woodford Bridge's recently-saved beauty spot Claybury Park.
Naturalist Brian Ecott will lead the expedition, and talk about the area's ancient woodland and diverse range of wildlife.
Those who want to attend should meet by the Roding Lane North park entrance by Vicarage Road in Woodford Bridge.
The event, this Saturday (August 22), runs from 10am till 1pm.
Under 16s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Sturdy footwear is advised.
Contact the council's Nature Conservation team on 8501 1426 for more information.
It will be the first such event in Claybury Park since it was handed over to Redbridge Council from a private developer after years of legal wrangling last month.
