The East of England ambulance service has renewed calls for motorcyclists to take care on the roads after another man narrowly avoided serious injury.
The man, from Waltham Abbey came off his moped close to the Plough pub on Sewardstone Road, shortly before lunchtime on Saturday (August 15).
Luckily he escaped with minor cuts and bruises and was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital where he was released later the same day.
A service spokesman said they had been inundated with calls over the past week, adding: "We urge all road users to be vigilant of one another to help prevent the accidents in the first place."
