OF the 86 pupils receiving their results at Chigwell School, 15 achieved three A grades, seven achieved four A grades and four gained five A grades.
With a total pass rate of 99 per cent both students and teachers at the school on High Road had reason to congratulate themselves.
Headmaster Michael Punt said: “We are always delighted when students work hard and achieve the results that they deserve.
"Many of these students have led very busy lives at Chigwell and have contributed much to the wider life of the school.”
A or B grades were achieved by 79 per cent of students taking the exams.
Mr Punt said: “With these results many are moving on to their chosen university courses, including eight who will be going to either Oxford or Cambridge.
"I am very grateful to all the teachers who have worked so hard to help and encourage them so well, and wish the students every continued success and happiness.”
