A PUB which was raided during a police crack down on drugs and gun crime in Chingford has closed down.
The Bull and Crown in The Green, Chingford, was one of three pubs targeted by police during the operation, which also saw a number of homes raided, last month.
Police seized drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000, four guns, £10,000 cash and stolen goods.
A total of 17 people charged with 130 offences following a series of dawn raids.
The Bull and Crown's license was altered at a recent hearing of the council's licensing sub committee.
The committee ordered the appointment of a new manager responsible for running the pub, which would be approved by police.
The Bull and Crown was ordered to install a noise limiter and CCTV, which would be checked by police.
It was also ordered to employ a minimum of two door staff approved by the Security Industry Authority at weekends.
But Punch Taverns, which leases the pub out to the licensee, has decided to shut it down.
The company is currently considering what to do with the site.
The Station House and Bar Lush, both in Station Road, were also raided by police last month.
