STUDENTS toasted their success at Wanstead High today (Thursday) after the school achieved its best A-Level results to date.
The school, in Redbridge Lane West, recorded a pass rate of 97 per cent at grades A-E, with several students gaining straight As.
David Wall, 18, got As in chemistry, physics, maths and further maths, while Christopher Thornton-Hogg, got A grades in economics, geography, maths and further maths.
Jonas Rohricht, 18, was equally successful, gaining As in biology, chemistry, German and maths, while Will parkinson, Holly Thomson and Sophie Warwicker got three A grades each.
Delighted headteacher, Chris Van Bussell said: "I am very proud of our students and proud of what our school has done to help our students achieve.
"The A-Level results this year are a testament to the hard work and dedication of both students and staff at the school"
A full list of A-Level results from across Redbridge is yet to be published by the council.
