A GIANT troll took over a village hall when children performed a show based on the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff.

The three to five-year-olds used art, drama and dance to recreate the tale in North Weald Village Hall on the High Road, and a huge troll, controlled by the children, was bought in as a prop.

Dance and development artist Vicky Quirke from Epping Forest Arts said: “We created a dance piece and the kids coloured in part of the troll and made party hats to wear during the show. They loved it and made new friends. It was great because they knew the story so could relate to it.”
