"BATTY" nature fans are invited to come and meet the nocturnal residents of Gunpowder Park in a special event this week.
There'll be lessons on how to spot Bats, how they hunt and live and visitors will get a chance to see the furry little fellas up close on Thursday (August 27).
The two-hour talk and tour, given by the Lee Valley Rangers, start at the Sewardstone Road park from 8pm.
The evening also includes a chance to make your own batty art to take home.
The whole family is welcome, but visitors are asked to remember to bring food, waterproofs and warm drinks.
The event is free, for more information call 01992 717 711.
