POLICE are appealing for your help to trace thieves who stole thousands of pounds from two pensioners on a bus.
A 73-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman boarded a 212 bus to Chingford at Walthamstow bus station.
They were then approached by two women who started chatting to them.
When the man and woman left the bus, they noticed several thousands of pounds had been stolen from their shopping cart which had been torn.
The theft happened at 12.34pm on Saturday, June 25, but police have only just released details of the crime.
Officers have released a CCTV image of one of the women believed to have been involved in the theft.
Police are looking for two women, aged between 18 and 20, of Mediterranean appearance.
