A FRUIT sharing project is to become a weekly event.
Organisers of a community fruit share scheme held for the first time in Chingford last Saturday said it was such a success they will be holding it every week.
The aim is to get people to come and swap fruit from their gardens or help those who don't have any.
It is held at 10am to 11.30pm every Saturday until the last weekend in September at St Anne's Church Gardens, 200 Larkshall Road, Chingford.
Refreshments are available on the day.
St Anne's is also open on Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm for refreshments.
