BRIGHT twins have become the first eight-year-olds to pass an A-Level exam in mathematics.
Peter and Paula Imafidon, pupils at Roger Ascham Primary School, in Wigton Road, Walthamstow, becoming the first children of that age to pass the University of Cambridge's advanced mathematics exam.
Paula passed with grade B and Peter a grade C.
The twins are also expecting results tomorrow for GCSE exams sat in ICT and computing.
Their father Chris Imafidon said: "We are extremely delighted with the continued progress of the twins' intellectual journey and development."
The twins were coached by Excellence in Education, a non-profit organisation helping with the educational development of students in inner-cities and with underprivileged children.
