A TOTAL of six people have now been arrested in connection with a gang shooting on a troubled Leytonstone estate.
The incident happened on August 10 at about 6.40pm on the Cathall estate and police say shots were fired all over the estate.
Three men were initially arrested over the shooting and another three have now been stopped by police.
Four have been bailed to return in October and two remain in custody in an east London police station.
A meeting was held last night at Leytonstone library to encourage witnesses to come forward as police believe many residents saw or heard something on August 10.
They have also confirmed more than one gang was involved although no suspect descriptions have been released.
Witnesses included children playing in the street.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Cathall Safer Neighbourhoods team on 8721 5004
