Students at King Harold's school saw an impressive 10 percent rise on the number of students getting five or more A*- C grades.
Of the 147 pupils who sat their GCSE's at the Broomstick Hall Road school this year, 36 percent got 5 or more A* - C grades, up ten percent from last year.
There has also been an 18 percent rise in the number of students getting 5 A*-C grades, which is now peaking at 51 percent.
Chair of Governors Maryanne Fleming said: "These improvements in standards reflect the hard work and commitment of students and staff at King Harold School and the support of staff within the Kemnal Trust.
"These results highlight the school's determination to continue to pursue the highest standards for all of our students."
