DAVENANT Foundation School has continued with its high achieving tradition with 85 per cent of year 11 students achieving 5 A* to C grades.
The Chester Road school, in Loughton, also achieved a 78 per cent pass rate including maths and English.
There were a number of outstanding individual results with Jade Chittock, Amanda Cole, Rebecca Greagsby, Demi Jordan, Jemima Rathbone and Thomas Salter all receiving ten A* or A Grades while ten other students achieved nine A*-A Grades.
Headteacher, Chris Seward said: “These results mean a lot to all the students, their families and the staff as well. We celebrate the outstanding achievements but we also know that there are many who have worked very hard to achieve grades that, while not so high, are thoroughly deserved.”
