It's been another good year for GCSE students at St John's School.
The school on Tower Road has seen a steady improvement over the past few years although exact percentages have yet to be calculated.
Amongst the high achievers this year were Jamie Forest who took home eight A*'s and 2 B's, Anna Pitts, who got eight A*'s and one B and Georgia Halstead, who achieved two A*'s and seven A's.
Headteacher George Yerosimou congratulated his pupils.
He said: “St John’s is proud of the achievements of all its students in their GCSE examinations.
"Their effort, the support of their families and the dedication and commitment of the staff of the school have all contributed to their successes.”
