SEPTEMBER may leave many drivers tearing their hair out in frustration as roadworks bring traffic to a halt.
The major resurfacing works to the M25 exit at junction 26 are due to delay traffic from the start of the month.
The first phase of the work will see Woodridden Hill closed for three nights from September 1 - 4. The busy access road which runs from Epping's Wake Arms roundabout to Waltham Abbey will be shut off to traffic between 7pm and 6am.
Junction 26 will be closed while the roundabout is resurfaced.
Phase two will begin on September 7, when Dowding Way in Waltham Abbey will be closed for ten nights in succession.
From September 18 until September 22 Meridian Way East will close at night and Meridian Way West will shut down from September 23 to October 3.
A spokesman for Essex County Council added that the dates could change due to weather conditions.
