A HEARTBROKEN family are appealing for the return of adorable Alfie, a British Bulldog who was stolen from a garden at his home in Roydon on Monday (August 24).
The Bulldog was taken by two hooded men between 11am and noon from a rear garden in the village.
A witness spotted a man climbing over the garden fence and handing Alfie over to a second man.
Both men were wearing hooded tops.
His family have been left heartbroken by the ordeal and are asking for help in tracking him down.
His owner said: “I can’t believe someone would do this; my children are devastated and we just want Alfie back.”
Alfie is a British bulldog, aged two-and-a-half years and is white and brown brindle colour.
Officer investigating Pc Kelly Cattley said: “This theft happened about midday, were you in the area? Did you see the two men with Alfie? If you have any information please contact me.”
