A MAN who was stabbed three times in a Woodford Green street has come out of hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, police have said.
The 28-year-old was walking with his girlfriend along Snakes Lane East at around 2.30am on Monday (August 24) when he was set upon by two men.
Officers are still hunting the man's attackers, who are described as black and aged between 20 and 30.
The man was stabbed in his arms and legs by the pair after his girlfriend refused to give them her handbag.
He was originally rushed to Whipps Cross Hospital but was then transferred to Broomfield Hospital in Essex for specialist surgery on his wounds.
Today Ilford Police said the man had now been released from hospital and is recovering at his home.
Police are currently examining CCTV footage which they believe may hold the key to their investigation, but they are also asking on the people of Woodford to help with their enquiries.
