COMMUTERS can still express their views about plans to increase the number of train carriages fitted to peak-time services on the Chingford to Liverpool Street line.
A deal announced in April between the Department for Transport and National Express East Anglia (NXEA), who operate the route, would see an extra 188 carriages across the overground network.
NXEA began a 12-week consultation in June in which commuters can tell the rail operator what they think of the proposals, it will end on Friday, September 11.
The changes start coming into effect in December, with all planned trains fitted with the extra capacity by December 2011.
The increase will see approximately 11,000 extra seats made available on services going into to Liverpool Street in the morning rush-hour.
