VISITORS from outer space may have made an appearance in Loughton, it has been claimed.
Commenting on UFO sighting website uk-ufo.co.uk, four people said they witnessed large, round, orange lights in the sky above the town.
Colin Payne, who posted the original sighting on August 29, claimed he saw the lights late in the evening as he drove home, "moving in formation", and stopped his car to watch.
Another three commenters corroborate his story, saying they saw the same orange lights but there may have been as many as 50 of the strange spheres, travelling from right to left towards Debden.
Commenter Joe Craddock stated: "It definitely was not aeroplanes of any kind as the final couple of lights sort of went into and through each other. Very hard to describe."
