JADE Goody’s widower, Jack Tweed, 22, has appeared in court charged with rape.
Police also arrested two other men, following a complaint by a woman about an alleged attack in Redbridge.
It is understood the woman reported the rape at a Waltham Forest police station.
Tweed, of Repton Park, Chigwell, was arrested on Friday night, together with a 20-year-old man who has been bailed, and another, aged 25, who is still in custody.
Tweed appeared before Redbridge magistrates today (Saturday) and was remanded in custody.
He will appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 21.
There was no application for bail.
