A TEENAGE motorcyclist who rode away after colliding with a 14-year-old pedestrian is wanted by police.
A 14-year-old boy was walking along a footpath near Cassis Court, in Loughton, when he was struck by the motorcycle just behind the Wimpys.
He received a serious leg injury and was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital, Leytonstone.
The motorcyclist, described as white and about 17 years old, rode away through an alleyway leading to Debden station.
Investigating Officer PC Simon Willsher said: “We have been told that this motorcyclist is often seen and heard on most afternoons so we would be looking to identify him. At this stage, we don’t know if the machine is a mini-moto, scooter or scrambler bike.”
Anyone with information on the incident, which occured on Friday (September 4) at about 7.45pm should contact investigating officers at Chigwell Road Policing Unit on 0300 333 4444.
