A NEW riding school is to be built with special facilities for disabled people.
Existing buildings at Love Apple Farm in Waltham Abbey will be knocked down to make way for the new centre.
District councillors granted permission last night (September 9) with the condition that at least 50 per cent of all riders using the school should be registered disabled.
The school will be the first of its kind in the area, and agent Jeremy Poyser said he hoped the local community would support the project.
He added: βIt's a great project and will give the opportunity for disabled people to have access to riding facilities. At least 50 per cent of people using the school will be disabled but other people can use it too.β
