AN EVENING of musical and poetic spoken word performances is behind held at a Walthamstow pub in support of a campaign to end human rights abuse.
In Dignity is being organised by Amnesty International's Waltham Forest branch and will take place at the Castle pub, in Grosvenor Rise East.
It will feature talks, poetry and ukulele tunes.
Among the performers are Darren Hayman, former singer in 1990s indie rock band Hefner, and Perier award-winning comedian Waen Shepherd.
The event, on September 29 at 7.30pm, is in support of Amnesty International's Demand Dignity campaign, which is calling for more rights for poor people worldwide.
