A DYSLEXIA charity is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a dinner with a guest speaker from a reality television show.
Vernon Kerswell, the youngest contestant to appear on BBC's Dragon's Den will talk about his own experience of being dyslexic at the Waltham Forest Dyslexia Association’s anniversary event.
The 21-year-old pitched for £75,000 to develop his business Extreme Fliers Toys and although he did not get the investment on the programme, he is still continuing to grow his business.
The Mayor of Waltham Forest will be attending and the association’s former chairs will also be attending.
The dinner is on Saturday, September 26 from 7.30pm in Saint Theresa’s R.C. Hall, Station Road, Chingford.
Tickets are £20, available by calling 8529 1957, or emailing eric.england@ntlworld.com or visit www.wfda.org.uk for more details.
