A JAZZ band played a small concert in a Leyton park this afternoon.
The PK Quartet performed to park visitors and passers by on their way to the Leyton Orient game from the bandstand in Coronation Gardens, off Leyton High Road.
But the quartet had to play as a trio for part of their set as an electrical fault meant their keyboardist could not join them.
Dawayne Williams, Leyton town centre manager, said: "I held this because we don't have very many events like this in Leyton.
"I want to try and make Leyton known for the positive things about it."
The park made headlines recently after a man was found stabbed there in June and in August when a mass street brawl took place nearby.
