A TALENTED schoolgirl who achieved 12 A*s in her GCSE exams has been recognised for her efforts in helping to promote better nutrition.
Forest School pupil Priya Kotecha has won the British Nutrition Foundation Award for raising awareness of the issue during her home economics coursework over the past year.
She will receive the award at a glittering ceremony in London on November 25 - together with a £50 cheque for herself and £100 for her school.
She said: "It was totally unexpected but I was really pleased to receive it. I would like to thank my teacher for all her help and support."
