THE photographers behind the best pictures taken by members of Loughton Camera Club have been rewarded for their efforts.
The Fred Pollard Trophy was won by John Woolliams for his monochrome print Waiting at Trafalgar Square, and the Mike Stewart Trophy was presented to Fiona Fraser-Thomson for her colour print Impressionism: Poppy Fields.
Judge Maggie Tear said: "There were a lot of brilliant pictures on display. This is always a great competition which is enjoyed by all.
"Seeing some of the club's best work inspires everyone to improve their own efforts in the hope of winning next time.”
