HISTORIC and architecturally exciting buildings in the borough will be opened up for a weekend for residents to view.
The 'Open House London' event is this weekend showcasing 700 buildings of local interest to Londoners completely for free.
On Saturday and Sunday, September 19 and 20, there will 13 of Walthamstow's most iconic buildings opening their doors.
Many will be holding guided tours.
The borough's buildings included in Open House are:
Walthamstow Town Hall and Assembly Hall, Forest Road,
Walthamstow Georgian Walthamstow at William Morris Gallery, Forest Road, Walthamstow
Forest School, College Place, Walthamstow.
Hatherley Mews Offices, Hatherley Mews, Walthamstow
Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge, Rangers Road, Chingford
St Mary with St Edward and St Luke, Church Road, Leyton St Mary's Parish Church, Church Hill, Walthamstow
The Pump House Steam and Transport Museum, South Access Road, Walthamstow
Vestry House Museum, Vestry House, Walthamstow
Walthamstow City Learning Centre, Billet Road, Walthamstow
William Morris Galley, Lloyd Park, Walthamstow
Woodford Green United Free Church, High Elms, Woodford Green
