A MAN who was charged with perverting he course of justice after telling the police he had been abducted at knifepoint, will stand trial at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, December 7.
Noor Ramjanally, 36, of Valley Hill in Loughton was arrested by police on September 3 after he told them that he had been abducted from his home and driven into Epping Forest where he was threatened.
At a hearing yesterday (Wednesday) in Harlow magistrates court he was released on bail pending his appearance at Chelmsford.
No plea was entered.
