THE River Thames will be restored to tube maps from December, it has been announced.
The latest Transport for London tube maps had the River Thames removed in an attempt to “de-clutter” them to make them easier to read.
But following complaints from tourist organisations and from the Mayor of London Boris Johnson, who was reportedly furious at the missing river, the Thames will once again appear on maps from December.
TfL also removed travel zones from the map, but following complaints will also re-consider that decision too.
