HUNDREDS of cyclists are expected to take part in a convoy from Walthamstow to central London.
The free event, organised by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, in partnership with Sky, will see cyclists enjoy a 15km traffic-free ride in central London, taking in views of iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and St. Paul's Cathedral.
It is expected to be the biggest mass participation cycling event ever held in the capital.
Waltham Forest cyclists of all ages and abilities can join the guided ride on Sunday, September 20, at 9am, at Walthamstow Central Library in the High Street.
Boris Johnson said: “It's been a great summer of cycling in London, with more and more people discovering that ours is a fantastic city in which to go by two wheels.
“I want Waltham Forest residents to dust off their bikes, saddle up, and come and take part.”
