JACK Tweed, the widower of TV celebrity Jade Goody, will appear in court today over allegations that he raped a young woman in Woodford Bridge.
Tweed was arrested at his rented flat in the Brandesbury Square section of gated community Repton Park after the alleged attack on September 4.
Today he will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court for a preliminary hearing over the charge in front of Judge David Radford, the Honorary Recorder of Redbridge.
The 22-year-old has been in custody since his arrest.
