THOUSANDS of new students have this week been enrolling in activities as part of the University of East London (UEL) Freshers' Fayre.
Students, many of whom have moved into the UEL student village, at Royal Albert Dock, have been enjoying music, dance and carnival performances at the university's Docklands and Stratford campuses.
Sporty students enjoyed demonstrations of football, basketball and rugby.
UEL now has mushroomed in size in recent years and now has more than 21,000 students.
