A MAN accused of raping a woman in her Woodford Green home has had his name cleared.
Jurors yesterday (Tuesday September 22) found 47-year-old Michael Davis not guilty of both rape and sexual assualt following a trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.
During the trial Mr Davis, of Yates House in Bethnal Green, said he had sex with the woman last June, but that she had given her consent.
