SNARESBROOK Under-21s kicked off their season in style with a 3-0 victory over Linford Wanderers.
All the goals came after the break, with Joshua Woodcock heading in the first. Robert Craine converted a penalty soon after and a third goal late on sealed the points.

Ilford’s U14s enjoyed the perfect preparation for the upcoming season by winning two pre-season tournaments. They first travelled to Southend to compete in Catholic United’s tournament, and they took the title without losing a game. They then enjoyed a similar unbeaten run to win the Essex Royals tournament in Wickford.
Elsewhere, Redbridge Ladies U15s also started their Essex County Girls League season in positive fashion, edging a tight battle at Canvey Island Girls 3-2. Louise made the difference with a hat-trick.
Meanwhile, Senrab’s U13 A team have begun the season in fine form. Malaki Toussaint, Muhammadu Faal and Daniel Okojie scored as they beat UPR 3-2 in their first Echo League Premier match.
The club are through to the next round of the Essex County Cup after a thumping 14-0 win over Colchester Villa Colts. Faal and Kailum St. Rose grabbed hat-tricks, while Ebenezer Pinto and Jesse Green-Wilson got two each.
Coopersale’s U15s trounced Sutton 15-0 in their opening Cheshunt League fixture. Ryan and Brenton were the standout players, grabbing four goals each, while Ben scored a hat-trick, Christian bagged a brace and George and Nathan also got on the scoresheet.

Elsewhere, James Piras was the star of the show as Woodford’s U15s rugby A team thrashed Sidcup 58-0.
Piras scored four tries, while Matt Grogan, Joseph Baulch (2), Oliver Jones, Will Cooper-Rendu and Liam Sanderson also went over. Ryan Davies added four conversions.
In the team’s first home game of the season they overcame Southend 44-7. Foot, Goddard (2), Gittens (2), Barker, Ross and Ellisdon scored the tries.
