A WHIPPS Cross midwife has completed a charity cycle ride from London to Amsterdam.
Joanna Naylor, an infant feeding advisor, and Claire Davis, a breastfeeding advisor from Tower Hamlets, have raised £5,000 for Breastfeeding Network.
Ms Naylor also wanted to raise awareness of how breastfeeding can provide protection against swine flu, as human milk contains antibodies.
The pair left London, cycled to Harwich, before catching a ferry to the Netherlands.
They then cycled through sand-dunes and past windmills to the Dutch capital.
She said: ““We really enjoyed the whole experience,.the only downside being that lots of the villages are entirely cobbled, which made us long for our next comfort stop.”
