TRANSPORT police were called to Loughton Tube Station yesterday following the report of an attack on three young people on a Central line train.
Officers arrived after reports that seven youths attacked the other group as the train moved between Debden and Loughton stations on Wednesday, September 23.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “The victims, three males aged between 16 and 18, were reported to have been assaulted by the group after getting on the train at Debden at around 5.10pm. The victims were not injured in the incident.
“When the train arrived at Loughton, the two groups left the train. The attackers fled the station and are believed to have boarded a bus back to Debden.
“The suspects are described as white males aged between 16 and 20. Officers are conducting inquiries and will be reviewing CCTV from the stations.”
