ARTISTIC pupils from William Torbitt Primary School will hoping for some natural inspiration next Wednesday (September 30) as they explore the great outdoors.
As part of the Big Walk on Wednesdays (WoW), aimed at getting school pupils to walk to school at least one day a week, a Nature Conservation Officer will lead the youngsters on a 'walking bus' from the Eastern Avenue school to nearby Seven Kings Park.
They will be collecting natural materials for a collage and learning all about the creepy crawlies and other wildlife in the area.
The theme of this year's WoW campaign is exploring British nature and pupils will have the chance to work towards a series of 12 achievement badges through the school year.
