THE Central Line has been re-opened between Leytonstone and Liverpool Street.
The line was suspended at 10.09am today (Friday) when a woman died after being struck by a westbound train at Mile End Station.
British Transport Police is not treating the incident as suspicious.
Fire-fighters and paramedics attended the scene as well as police.
The line has since been re-opened but there are severe delays.
This is the second person who has gone under a train on the Central Line in east London within the last two weeks.
Courtney Marshall, 41, of Walthamstow, went under a train at around 1pm on Sunday, September 12, at Redbridge Station.
