A 24-year-old man from Leyton has been arrested in connection with the theft of £61,000 from a personal bank account.
The man was arrested yesterday evening(Monday) at his home at around 7pm and has been bailed to return on November 7.
The money was stolen in a single electronic transaction from a bank in Bayswater, west London, in March.
Two men have been charged in connection with the bank fraud.
Mark Samson,21, of New North Road, Ilford, has been charged with two counts of possessing articles for use in fraud.
Samuel Abu,22, of Merlin Road, Welling, Kent has been charged with fraud by abuse of position and supplying articles for use in fraud.
The men are due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday, October 14.
The British Transport Police has not released any further details about the crime.
