A SCOUT leader suspended from his job after making hundreds of silent calls to women has resigned from his position.
Mark Bint, 38, of the First Chigwell Scouts, received a police caution two weeks ago for harassment after he subjected two women to a barrage of silent and “breathy” phone calls.
The Scout Association has now confirmed he has resigned his position and is no longer involved with his former group.
Mr Bint had been a Scout leader for 14 years and had been described as “quiet and unassuming” by parents.
