Wadham back on the march

This was a tough encounter against Senrab B as Wadham started the game with some good team work throughout from defence to the midfield.

However, the team only broke Senrab's resistance in the 20th minute. Cardell F-N set up D'Jovan C with a lovely pass over the Senrab defence and the latter lobbed the keeper for the first goal.

The second half started with Wadham taking over the game with some beautiful work from David B and Daniel M, holding the midfield/

The second goal came from Billy G who buried the ball into the net from 25 yards with his left foot.

U13's Cheshunt League

Wadham were looking to get points under their belt after the disappointment of losing the first game of the season.

It wasn't a bright start however, as Shiners camped in Wadham's half for the first five minutes of the game.

But after riding the early pressure Wadham broke away with a through ball from Billy G, who found Tom B and he calmly finished for 1-0.

From then on Wadham take the game to Shiners and a pass from Billy G released Johnathon C to score the second.

Wadham piled forward and Charlie B made it three with a fine solo effort.

It was one-way traffic as Billy G, with his fourth assist, set up Johnathon C to bury his second of the game.

Wadham's confidence was sky high as Khai L picked up the ball on the right from Charlie B and unleashed an unstoppable shot into the top corner.

Wadham can even afford a penalty miss as they go into half time 5-0 to the good.

A host of changes in the second half followed but Wadham were soon into their stride again as Sam P on the left fed Harry H who, in turn, lobbed the visiting keeper for the sixth.

Wadham continued to press and they won a very dubious penalty, which Tom B stepped up to convert.

The game was now very much in the visitors' half but even with the game lost they never gave up and were fighting for every ball.

Johnathon C picked up the ball on the half way line and with space in front of him made his way to the edge of the area unchallenged and let rip with a fierce shot that found the net.

Joe T joined the party and after a couple of good runs found Saballon with an inch perfect pass, who found the back of the net for the ninth.

A fantastic result for Wadham and a special mention to Harry Co in goal and the back line of Reggie D, Max R, Alex B and Darnell T who had little to do for large periods of the game but when called upon was there to do what was needed.

A big well done to all 16 players who all played a massive part in a great victory.
